I Can’t Tell You Why 7”
This special-release 7" features a pair of new, previously unreleased recordings. Side A is a fuzz- dirge cover of The Eagles' late-70s yacht rock classic – heavily inspired by Lou Reed's 2013 cover of Solsbury Hill. SIDE B is a re-imagining of 'Body Memory', the second single off Jess's 2020 album 'Distance'. This version plants the song in a field of echoey guitars, gentle synths and ambient street noise – including cameos by a baby and a nail gun.
